Smokey flavored cocktails - try your favorite smoked pepper variety in these recipes
Smoked Pepper Margarita
Ingredients:
- 2 oz tequila (blanco or reposado)
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- ¾ oz agave syrup or honey
- Pinch of Ruthie Mountain smoked pepper (our fav is Joe Parker)
- Optional: orange liqueur or grilled pineapple
Garnish: Smoked pepper-salt rim and lime wheel
Instructions: Shake all ingredients with ice, strain over fresh ice in a glass with a smoked pepper-salt rim.
Garnish with lime.

Hickory-Spiced Bloody Mary
Instructions:
- 2 oz vodka or gin
- 4 oz tomato juice
- ½ oz lemon juice
- 2 dashes Worcestershire
- 1 tsp horseradish
- ½ tsp Ruthie Mountain smoked pepper seasoning
- Salt, black pepper to taste
Garnish: Pickled okra, celery stalk, or smoked sausage skewer
Instructions: Stir or shake all ingredients. Serve over ice with garnishes.

- ½ ripe peach, muddled
- ¾ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz honey syrup
- Pinch of Ruthie Mountain smoked pepper
Garnish: Peach slice and thyme sprig
Instructions: Muddle peach, add remaining ingredients, shake with ice and strain over crushed ice. Garnish.
- 2 oz bourbon
- ½ ripe peach, muddled
- ¾ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz honey syrup
- Pinch of Ruthie Mountain smoked pepper
Garnish: Peach slice and thyme sprig

Mezcal Mule with Hickory Heat
Ingredients:
- 2 oz mezcal
- ½ oz lime juice
- ½ oz tamarind or simple syrup
- Pinch of Ruthie Mountain smoked pepper
- Top with ginger beer
Garnish: Lime and candied ginger
Instructions: Shake all but ginger beer, strain into copper mug over ice, top with ginger beer. Garnish.
- 2 oz mezcal
- ½ oz lime juice
- ½ oz tamarind or simple syrup
- Pinch of Ruthie Mountain smoked pepper
- Top with ginger beer
